Annual Management Festival, COMBAT 2009Algol School of Management and Technology, Gurgaon organized an All India Level Job Fair and Career Fair along with it’s Annual Management Festival, COMBAT 2009 at its campus on December 11 and 12, 2009. The events were organized in collaboration with All Nearly 50 companies participated in the Job Fair. Some of these include Wipro, IBM, NIIT Uniqua, Vigneshwara Developers, V-angelz, Virgin Mobile, Eureka Forbes, Livewel Aviation, CSC Financials, Serco, Navigant Technologies, Live Media and Reliance Money.

The Job Fair alone attracted a footfall of around 10000 over the 2 days. The footfall not only included fresh graduates from the various B – Schools and Around 35 educational institutions participated in the Career Fair who put up their stalls to show-case their courses and offer one-to-one counseling to prospective students. The Career Fair attracted a footfall of around 3500 over the 2 days with prospective students visiting the various stalls and enquiring about the courses, fee structure and career opportunities post course completion. The Annual Management Fest, COMBAT 2009 attracted over 750 students from 22 B-Schools who participated in the various events conducted over the 2 days. The events conducted included Business Plan Presentation, Ad Mad Show, Debate Competition, Business Quiz, Dance Competition, Painting Competition, Group Discussion, JAM Session and Fashion Show. COMBAT 2009 was inaugurated by renowned HR Professional Mr. Hari Nair. In addition, the Fest was also graced by many other Senior Corporate Professionals who visited the venue as Special Guest and distributed awards to the winners of the various events. The events came to a close with a Live Performance by World Renowned DJ Bally Sagoo and his Troupe who charged up the evening with their enthralling performance. |
