The Centurion Bank of Punjab(earlier called Centurion Bank), is another bank offering educational finance. If one is a resident of India and he/she has acquired admission, or is a student of bonafide universities within the country and abroad, then the individual will be consdered eligible for the loan.

The loan is aprroved only if there's a co-applicant which can include parents, relatives etc. The loan repayment period starts 6 months after completion of the course or one month after getting a job - whichever is earlier.

Expenses Covered :

The loan covers the following expenses that the student may encounter through the duration of the course. Apart from the basic expenses like tution fees, a wide range of expenses are covered by the bank.

* Fees to be paid to the institute 
* Fees to be paid for accomodation at the institute/university.
* Money for books, equipment, computers etc. required through the course
* Expenses incurred in travelling
* Exam/Library/Laboratory fees.
* Miscellaneous expenses including study tours, thesis/project work etc.

Required Documents :

For both applicant and co-applicant

* Identity Proof : Copy of Passport / Driving Licence / Voters Identity Card / Income Tax Pan Card.
* Residence Proof : Copy of Passport / Driving Licence / Voters Identity Card / Utility Bills
* Age Proof : Copy of Passport / Driving Licence / Income Tax Pan Card / Birth Certificate.
* Signature Verification.
* One Singed Photograph ( On the face).

Documents required from students for studies abroad

* Offer / Admission / Bonafide student letter from the university / college in India or Abroad.
* Cost of the Course ( including living).
* Copy of last examination passed result.
* Copy of Passport in case of study abroad.

For co-applicants

* Income Proof : Form 16 or Income tax returns for the last two years.
* Collateral Security Papers ( if any).
* Any other document / information as needed by Bank, depending upon the case and purpose of loan.
